What accounts can be downloaded into Quicken from
PCU?
Most accounts that are viewable through PCU can be downloaded
into Quicken. This includes savings, checking,
money market, vacation club, Christmas club and super
saver accounts. Simply set up another account within
Quicken and then download your additional account’s
history.
Are my account transactions downloaded through a
secure connection?
Yes. Your account transactions are downloaded
through a 128 bit encrypted connection.
How often can I download to Quicken?
You can download to Quicken as often as new transactions
are updated in PCU. Quicken will not post transactions
from PCU a second time.
What versions of Quicken can I download into
from PCU?
The last three versions of Quicken for Windows or Macintosh
(Quicken 2004 for Windows or Macintosh, Quicken 2003
for Windows or Macintosh, and Quicken 2002 for Windows
or Macintosh) are the only versions able to complete
the download process. If you are using an older
version of Quicken, you may receive the following error
message: "Quicken is currently unable to verify
the financial institution information for this download. Please
try again later." It may be necessary to purchase
a new version of Quicken for complete access to the download
capability.
Where do I go for Quicken support?
Quicken support: www.intuit.com/support/quicken/.
Are the bills I pay through BillPayer downloadable
to Quicken?
Yes. Once a bill you have setup in BillPayer has
been paid from your account, it can be downloaded into
Quicken.
Why isn't Day Air Credit Union listed on my financial
institution list in the versions of Quicken 2002, Quicken
2003 and Quicken 2004?
In most cases, Day Air will not show up on your financial
institution list because we are a new provider of this
service. As you are downloading your transaction
history to Quicken for the first time, your financial
institution list will be updated and you will be able
to complete the download.
What do the E, C, and R codes in the CLR column represent
in the register of Quicken?
The CLR column is used when a transaction has cleared
your account. If manually reconciling an account
from a paper statement, the CLR column is clicked when
a check or transaction is seen on the statement and the
letter C (for cleared) appears. When downloading a statement
from your financial institution, the letter E (for electronic)
automatically appears in the column to indicate it has
cleared the account. When you finish the reconciling
process, the letters C and E will become the letter R
(for reconciled) for all transactions.
