E-Statement Questions

What’s on an eStatement?

An eStatement is an exact replica of your paper statement, so it contains the identical information.  It’s available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. eStatements are stored electronically for you for at least 12 months. 

How do I get my eStatement?

Simply log onto PCU (Personal Credit Union).  Your statement will be available shortly after the close of business at the end of each month.  Last month’s statements were viewable by members on the last day of the month at 11:00 p.m.!  That’s several days sooner than paper statements arrive!

But are they safe?

Absolutely!  In fact, your eStatement may even be safer than a paper copy!  eStatements will never be emailed to you.  Instead, they require your secure PCU login.  The information is stored optically behind a firewall that requires an encrypted connection of a PCU session to access.  You, the member, must authenticate your password.  In other words, your eStatement is available to you—and only to you!

Is there a fee for my eStatement?

No, it’s a free member service from Day Air Credit Union. In fact, eStatements save the your Credit Union money each month in printing, sorting, and mailing fees.  These resources are then passed back to members in terms of better rates, lower fees and enhanced services.  Plus, we’re protecting the environment by saving trees.

 What if I want a printed statement?

The “Print Statement” option will print your entire statement for you.  However, many members appreciate the flexibility of just being able to print the portion of the statement they want.  The “Print Page” option makes that easy to do. 

 What if I want to continue to receive paper statements?

If you’d like to continue receiving a paper statement through the U.S. mail, simply email us at mail@dayair.org or call 937-643-2160 and tell a Day Air Member Representative that you’d like to continue receiving a paper statement.   There is no cost to continue receiving a duplicate statement by mail. 

What else can I do with eStatements?

Using the eDocuments function, you can see an electronic copy of all checks that clear your account within a day or two after they’ve cleared.  These checks are stored for you electronically for 12 months, along with your eStatement.

 Are there any other advantages?

By late summer 2004, eStatements will be integrated into leading financial management software such as Quicken and MS money.  Balancing your accounts will be easier than ever before—with eStatements!

Can I still get a newsletter?

 How do I enroll in eStatements?

If you are already a PCU user, you are already enrolled!  If you’ve never logged onto PCU, simply do so and you’ll be automatically enrolled and statements will be available to you online.  To log onto PCU click here.
