Helpful Tips
- You must register to use PCU. Once you are registered, your User ID is your account number, and your initial password is the last four digits of the primary owner's Social Security number. For security reasons, you will be asked to change your password the first time you sign-on.
- To access PCU, simply click on the words, "PCU login" at the top of your screen.
- Your password is case-sensitive. When you personalize your password, please be sure to type in your code accordingly with each sign-on.
- For security purposes, the system will automatically lock you out if you enter your password incorrectly three times. If this happens, contact the credit union so we can re-set your account.

Security
Day Air has years of experience helping members manage their money and protecting their members' privacy and safety, so security and confidentiality play a leading role in our online banking service. We have highly sophisticated encryption procedures in place to prevent unauthorized users from reading confidential information.
What Is Encryption?
PCU uses the latest data encryption technology to enable Day Air members to safely access confidential account information. Encryption technology is essential to protect the users of online financial services from fraud and the loss of private financial information.
Day Air utilizes two firewalls. A firewall is what you see when you enter PCU and are prompted to enter your User ID and Password. A firewall acts as a traffic director allowing the user to pass through and have access to (direct them to) only their account. If you enter the wrong information three times, it will lock you out. You will need to call us in order to restore access.
Day Air also employs 128-bit encryption, which is the most powerful available. What 128-bit means: there are 2 to the 128th power different combinations that will be needed to begin "de-crypting" one piece of information you enter and send to Day Air. This would take literally eons - an actual lifetime. The system is so sophisticated, we don't even know when you are logged-in and using PCU.
Automatic Sign Off
Sometimes you may be using a remote computer when you're banking online, so remembering to sign off is very important. However, if you do forget to sign off, PCU will automatically sign off for you after 10 minutes of inactivity. This will prevent anyone from accessing your account.
Following some simple guidelines can also help ensure your safety. How to play it safe:
- Choose passwords of six to eight characters with a combination of letters and numbers, and keep them to yourself.
- Keep personal identification numbers (PINs) to yourself.
- Don't leave account numbers lying around where others can see them.
- Don't ignore security messages--your personal computer (PC)/Internet screen will indicate whether or not you're operating in a secure environment.
- Contact the credit union if you have any problems or concerns.
- Use common sense.
